The Ratchet and Clank series now spans three console generations. And as such, has had three opportunities to reinvent, expand, or focus itself. However, the series’ scope and depth has only shrunk over the years, in nearly every respect. The universe, characters, and gameplay of Ratchet and Clank has much potential, and we will discuss how this series can return to it’s former quality, and far exceed it.
